ueno park I
///Tokyo./// Vi spenderade i princip hela nyårsdagen i Uenoparken. Njöt av solskenet, tittade på folk, åt glass och powernappade på japanskt vis (sittande upprätt med hakan mot bröstet) och gick på loppis. Det var en himla fin dag.

///Tokyo./// We spent almost the entire New Year's Day in Ueno park. Enjoyed the sunshine, people watched, ate ice cream and took a power nap Japanese style (sitting upright with your chin to your chest) and went to a flea market. It was such a great, relaxed day.

looks like the perfect relaxed new year's day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I spent the New Year in Tokyo a few years ago and loved the atmosphere. Parties on the Eve and relaxation on the Day. My favorite part was receiving the traditional New Year's warm sake at breakfast with a little gold flake in it. A very special time. carly

ReplyDeleteMen imorgon är det fastlagsbullar för hela slanten. Ojojoj. Fettisdag, äntligen.
That sounds like a perfect way to spend a day. Always love your photos.
