happy new year
Last Sunday I had coffee with Yoshi, my parents' Japanese friend who me and Andrea visited in January. He was in Malmö for work, and chatting with him about Japan made me want to dig into my vast archive of yet-to-be-edited photos from our trip and show you some of them. Here are a few from New Year's Eve, which we celebrated at Zojoji temple in Tokyo. Those white flying things are 3000 balloons with attached wishes, released at midnight. Among the thousands of people there, only a few were drunk and loud. Foreigners, of course.
