spain : part VI : alhambra I

We were there a first time in November several years ago, but we hadn't realized that only a certain amount of people are allowed entry each day, so we had to settle for walking around in the garden. This time my mother made sure we had tickets booked many months in advance. I took so many photos I had to split them into two posts, part two coming soon.

  6. Beautiful, the Moorish architecture, inscriptions and tiles are exquisite. No wonder you wanted to return and see inside.

  10. Wow, I've never heard of this place, but now it's on my ever-growing list of places to visit. Thanks for sharing! And I loved your orange clove idea for Brittany's blog. I used to do that with my mom when I was little and it brought back a lot of good memories. Think I'll try it with my daughter this year.
