.0122 .0103 .0155 .0105 .0139 .0124 .0157 Two weeks ago I went home to my parents for a long weekend. I didn't want to break the 25-year old tradition of baking gingerbread cookies on the first weekend of advent. This year it was just me and my mom, and we were done before the last song on the Christmas CD had finished playing (we used to have to switch CDs 2-3 times...). I was lucky enough to have it snow while I was home, too, and we took a walk in the woods close to our house right before the sun set between the pine trees at 3 pm. The stash of gingerbread cookies I brought back to Oslo is almost gone now, but luckily it's only one more week until I go back home for Christmas (how does December go by so fast??).

  1. This looks (and sounds) so magical! I've been longing to see snow this Christmas, but we don't get much of it here. Happy holidays!
