Working 10 hours a day doesn't leave much time for taking pictures, let alone blogging them. But today I had the morning off and decided to take some pictures in our summer house. My dad's parents bought it in the late 60s/early 70s and now my dad and two of his brothers + families all share it. A lot of things have stayed the same since the 70s and others have changed. The embroidered NG on the towels in the drawer stand for Nannie Grahnat, my grandmother. Perhaps I'll show you more details later in the summer.

And I just have to tell you. Before I left my hometown on Monday I thrifted this (not my photo) in excellent condition for $22! Here one just like it was sold for $225. Yes, I'm quite pleased.

  8. *your pictures are as delicate as the wallpaper and birds and the grass and... well, the whole place it seems! Such delicate (that word again) balance between order and sentimentalism... I like*
