Denna försenade julklapp överlämnade jag till min bror och hans sambo igår. Han är svensk och hon är spansk, så jag tänkte att den kunde passa. Jag tycker att det här omslaget har allt; titta bara på tjuren med rosen i munnen, typografin och hattmannen på ryggen. Det var nära att jag behöll den själv... (Andra bokklockor finns att köpa i min shop!) Jag är i Stockholm över helgen, vi ses igen på måndag. Tills dess kan ni ta en titt på de fina bloggarna i länklistan jag har lagt till i högerspalten.
I gave my brother and his girlfriend this delayed Christmas gift yesterday. He is Swedish and she is Spanish, so I thought a Spanish-Swedish dictionary was fitting. I think this cover has everything; just look at the bull with the rose in its mouth, the typography and the hat man on the backstrip. I almost kept it for myself... (Other book clocks are available in my shop!) I am in Stockholm for the weekend, I'll see you here again on Monday. ReplyDeletei have a friend who is half swedish/ half spanish and this book made me think of her. i love finding things that are just perfect for someone. and although it's hard giving them away, it's always worth it when i see how special it makes the receiver feel.
