new creative corner
Often when I feel inspired and want to make collages or doodle, I end up not doing it because I dread cleaning up afterwards. At school, my desk was hardly ever visible because of all the papers and materials spread out on it. I've had the idea of turning this shelf/desk into a workspace for a while, but haven't gotten around to it until today. (After spending the past few days in a horizontal position, I had this enormous burst of energy this afternoon and suddenly got a million things done.) It's smaller than I would like it to be, but it's better than the kitchen table. And now I finally found a good function for this corner of the room. The African bamboo bag underneath holds vintage magazines to cut up, in case you were wondering. I hope I'll spend many hours in this corner this winter. Now all I need is a good lamp.

ReplyDeletePerfect! I did the same thing recently in my study, putting aside a little desk for creative projects, so that I didn't have to mess up then clean up my work desk or the kitchen table. I love it, although it doesn't look anywhere near as good as yours. I am inspired.
