blue skies & new sights

More from my first weeks in Oslo. Plenty of walking, plenty of sunshine, plenty of new places to discover.

Mer från mina första veckor i Oslo. Mycket promenerande, mycket solsken, mycket nytt att upptäcka.

  4. The best thing about moving to a new city is exploring unfamiliar places - streets, corners, parks, shops, cafes... and then realising after a while that they're not unfamiliar anymore at all, but filled with memories.

  5. I love vigelandsparken! You should definitely check out botaniskhage when the weather is nice, if you haven't already! It's beautiful!

  7. So exciting! Most of my family lives in Stavanger but I have several cousins who live in and around Oslo. Such a gorgeous city. I can't recommend the Munch museum and Akershus enough. :)

  10. Those statues (or is just one with two guys?) seem like something out of the soviet era. Where in Oslo are they? I'd love to go see them one day.

  11. Yes, the bearded statues look amazing ! They look like old, wise, respectable, kind-but-feared stone giants, if that's at all understandable :)
    The picture is just beautiful.
