Inside the Mezquita-Catedral. The grandeur of this building is impossible to capture with a 50 mm lens, and these snapshots don't do it justice at all. We visited in the morning, when entrance was free and most other tourists were still asleep.

Inuti Mezquita-Catedral. Storheten i denna byggnaden är omöjlig att fånga med ett 50 mm-objektiv och de här bilderna visar bara små utsnitt av den fantastiska interiören. Vi var där på morgonen, när det var fri entré och de flesta andra turister fortfarande sov.

In the courtyard of the church-turned-mosque-turned-cathedral Mezquita-Catedral in Córdoba. This was my second visit and I'd gladly go back again. The mix of architectural styles and decorations in this building is amazing. Next post: the interior.

On a day like today, when it's been raining all day and my toes were cold for the first time since last winter, what could be more perfect than looking back at photos from this summer's trip to Andalucia, Spain? These were all taken one afternoon at my brother's wife's family's country house which is the most magical place. The view is breathtaking, the wild horses like crusty bread and melon peels, the salt water pool is just cool enough in the hot air and no words can explain how great this place is.

Vad passar bättre en dag som den här, när det har regnat hela dagen och jag frös om tårna för första gången sedan i vintras, än att titta på bilder från sommarens resa till Andalusien? De här är tagna en eftermiddag på min brors frus familjs lantställe och jag kan inte med ord beskriva vilken fantastisk plats det är. Utsikten gör en mållös, vildhästarna gillar gammalt bröd och melonskal och saltvattenpoolen är precis lagom kylande i den heta luften. Ja ni ser ju själva hur fint det är.

wedding : lisa & ulrik

Speaking of behind, I just realized I haven't posted more than sneak peeks from this wedding season yet! This is Lisa and Ulrik. They got married outside Linköping in May, when the birch leaves were that super chlorophyll-y shade of green and the wood anemones were in full bloom. Oh, and we ran into a goat.

På tal om att ligga efter så insåg jag just att jag inte har visat mer än tjuvkikar från den här bröllopssäsongen! Det här är Lisa och Ulrik. De gifte sig utanför Linköping i maj, när björklöven var sådär dunder-klorofyll-gröna och vitsipporna var i full blom. Och så kom en get och promenerade förbi.
